VG Systems, LLC is a HUBZone small business based in Quantico, VA. We are a dynamic, expanding company with exciting opportunities in legal support, IT, Project Management Solutions, Application Development, and Business Operations.

VG Systems, LLC is seeking an entry-level part-time Paralegal to fill a HUBZone position supporting our CEO and COO. Candidates must meet HUBZone requirements to be considered for this position.

Depending on the department and work to be performed, the work location will vary. This position may be performed on-site at the Quantico headquarters office with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule. Candidates may be required to complete up to half of their hours in person at our Quantico office located at 521 C Street, Quantico, VA 22134.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence
• Maintain and organize legal files and records
• Support compliance and regulatory matters under supervision
• Assist the CEO and COO in legal and administrative tasks
• Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding legal matters
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive legal information
• Provide general administrative support as needed to the CEO and COO

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field preferred
• Paralegal certification (preferred but not required)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Effective communication skills
• Highly dependable and trustworthy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to work 20 hours per pay period (pay periods run from 1st - 15th of the month; 16th - last day of the month)
• Small Business Administration HUBZone eligibility; ability to provide appropriate documentation to support HUBZone status to qualify for a position
