Are you a natural leader with a passion for maintaining pristine environments? We are seeking a dedicated Evening Supervisor to join our team at UPMC Presbyterian/Montefiore. In this role, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of our Lead Persons, Floor & Project Technicians, and Housekeepers to ensure our premises are spotless and well-maintained.

Shift Details:

• Sunday-Thursday- 10p-6:30am

Responsibilities:

\n
• Complete discharges within one hour.

\n
• Attend all mandatory in-services.

\n
• Communicate daily with head nurses/unit clerks.

\n
• Meet all legitimate facility requests promptly.

\n
• Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.

\n
• Regularly check assigned areas and ensure compliance; reinforce behavior through praise or corrective action.

\n
• Ensure equipment is kept clean at all times, and in good running order.

\n
• Ensure sufficient supplies and equipment; properly label all chemicals and solutions.

\n
• Oversee Lead Housekeepers, Housekeepers, and Technicians; ensure adequate shift coverage.

\n
• Handle administrative tasks, employee documentation, and approve PTO within guidelines.

\n
• Carry and answer 24 hours pager.

\n
• Perform duties during disasters and drills, act as a liaison between shifts.

\n
• Complete a minimum of 5 inspections daily utilizing Pocket PC Technology.

\n
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma/GED required
\n
• 3 years of relevant experience required 
\n
• 1 year of relevant leadership experience required
\n
• Knowledge and familiarity with chemical use and dilution rates.
\n
• Basic computer knowledge to include familiarity with MS Office.
\n
